The brief

The client, a professional haircare supply brand, needed a UGC-style testimonial ad that would feel credible to a trade audience: working hairstylists who can spot a stock actor or a fake salon instantly. The script was client-provided, our job was to bring it to life convincingly.

The approach

Everything the viewer sees and hears was built by us, from the ground up.

We started with the presenter, designing an AI stylist with the look and presence of someone genuinely working the floor, not a polished spokesmodel. We paired her with a natural, conversational voice suited to someone talking peer-to-peer, not reading an ad.

Believability also meant the world around her had to hold up. We designed a full working salon set, styling chair, mirrors, product shelving, another stylist visible in the background, so the environment read as a real salon, not a green-screen approximation. That detail matters for a trade audience who’d immediately clock anything that looked staged.

The delivery itself was built for native UGC pacing: handheld-feeling framing, synced on-screen captions, and a conversational rhythm that reads as advice from a peer, not a script. The spot closes on a clear product moment, our presenter gesturing directly to the product as she recommends it, giving the ad a concrete visual payoff instead of ending on words alone.

The result

A fully believable UGC testimonial, presenter, voice, salon environment, and product showcase all designed and generated without hiring talent, renting a salon, or filming a single frame.
