Turning a Legal Risk Into a Sales Pitch, in Native Dutch
Vertical social ads for a Dutch AI platform, built around a real legal argument: EU businesses using US AI tools may be exposing their data to US authorities under the Cloud Act, even when that data is stored in Europe.

Start a new projectThe brief
The client, a Dutch AI platform positioning itself as an EU-hosted alternative to tools like ChatGPT and Copilot, needed short vertical ads that could explain a genuinely technical legal risk (Cloud Act exposure, conflict with GDPR/AVG) clearly enough to land as a scroll-stopping social ad, not a compliance briefing. And it had to be native Dutch, not translated.
The approach
We built separate spots, each with its own AI-generated presenter and voice, delivering the argument in natural, native Dutch rather than a dubbed or translated script. One spot uses a male presenter explaining the direct risk to a business using US-based AI tools; another uses a female presenter framing the same argument around the legal mechanics of the Cloud Act and its conflict with GDPR. Each closes on the same pitch, choosing an AI platform built and hosted on Dutch soil, control isn’t optional, it’s necessary.
Every presenter’s delivery was matched to the tone the message needed, direct, credible, slightly urgent, and finished with on-screen captions and motion graphics (a lock icon, key phrases pulled out and animated on screen) to reinforce the legal argument visually as it’s being made, so the risk lands even for a viewer scrolling with the sound off.
The result
Fully native Dutch-language ads, distinct presenters, distinct scripts, one shared argument, built to make a legal compliance risk land as clearly as a product pitch, without hiring bilingual talent or managing a translation and dubbing process.
